MANAGER DUTIES

  • All staff are required to complete the Sideline Sports Doc online course (approximately 1 hour online course) and to complete a background check application. Club administrator will guide you through the process.

  • Organizes the team, obtains and maintains documents, communicates events and information and assists coach as needed.

  • Registers for tournaments and relays any tournament requirements to families such as any lodging requirements, parking or entrance fees, etc.(EW Surf SC registers team with PSPL for regular league play each season).

  • Prepares all game-day or tournament documents required for team check-ins.

  • Secures lodging for team as needed/requested by coach or required by tournaments.

PAPERWORK NEEDED PER TEAM:
Team Rosters
The club registrar and/or administrator will email you a pdf of your official US Club roster. Some tournaments may have specific rules relating to rosters needed for their event. Please work with registrar and/or administrator to be sure you have the roster versions that are required for your event.

Player Cards
The club registrar and/or administrator will email you a pdf of your player cards. The need to be printed out on smooth, white paper and laminated. After laminated, hole punch them and secure on metal ring.

Medical Release Forms
A printable form can be downloaded from the site. Information needed to complete these forms was collected during online registration. You can request a pdf of these forms to either print out or have electronically in the event of the necessity of medical treatment.

Player Passes/Guest Players
If you have any player passes/guest players, be sure they are on the game day roster with no conflicting jersey number and that you have a laminated copy of their player card and a copy of their team’s official US Club roster.

Rules regarding player passes/guest players can be found in the rules on the Puget Sound Premier League website.

GAME DAY
Bring to the field at the start of each game:

  • Completed Game Day Roster sheets (1 for opponent, 2 for referee)

  • Official US Club team roster

  • Laminated Player cards/Staff cards (staff and coaches are required to wear their cards on a lanyard when on the sidelines)

  • Medical release forms (can have printed or electronically in the event of a player needing medical care)

TREASURER DUTIES

  • Each team should have a manager and a treasurer. Manager and treasurer should both be on the bank account. Team accounts should be set up under the EW Surf SC parent account at Washington Trust Bank.

  • Treasurer manages the team finances, budget, bank account and assets. Collects team expenses, reimburses for manager/coach/club-approved, team-incurred expenses, pay for tournament registration as needed.
